EVOC Operator FAQs

Is this course approved in Florida?

Yes. This course is based on the U.S. DOT National Standard Curriculum and meets EVOC training requirements under Florida Statutes. It is also approved by the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office.

How does the EVOC Operator certification process work?

Register online, complete the online didactic EVOC course, then print your Online Completion Certificate. Bring that certificate to the driving site on the date you selected and complete the in-person driving practical.

Are the dates listed the actual driving practical dates?

Yes. The date you select is the scheduled driving practical date. Driving location details and class times are emailed the week prior.

Will I receive course emails and how do I make sure I get them?

Yes—official course communications come from training@trilogyems.com. Add trilogyems.com and training@trilogyems.com to your safe sender list and check your spam/junk folder.

Do I complete the online course in a classroom or on Zoom?

No. The online didactic portion is completed independently on your schedule. It must be completed prior to the in-person driving practical.

What if I need to change my driving practical date?

Contact training@trilogyems.com for rescheduling options.

What is the refund policy?

Once you register, the course is non-refundable. You may reschedule your driving practical by contacting the Training Office at training@trilogyems.com.
