Course Overview

This is a 16-hour EVOC Operator course that meets or exceeds State of Florida requirements and is aligned with nationally recognized U.S. DOT and NHTSA standards for emergency vehicle operator training.

Why the hybrid format matters. Florida Rule 64J-1.013 requires a documented 16-hour emergency vehicle operator course — classroom instruction plus behind-the-wheel training. A fully online course cannot satisfy the driving requirement; our hybrid combines online academics with an in-person driving day so the requirement is fully met. The certification is one-time and does not expire.

Register for your EVOC course

The dates listed correspond to the scheduled in-person driving assessment.

After registration, you may receive a confirmation message that requires email verification.

Complete the online EVOC course

All didactic training must be completed prior to the driving assessment.

Print your Online Completion Certificate

Bring your printed certificate to the driving site as proof of online completion.

Complete the driving assessment

Certification is issued after satisfactory completion of the required driving skills.

Important: Driving assessment location details and class times are emailed during the week prior to your scheduled date. Emails are sent from training@trilogyems.com. Please add trilogyems.com and training@trilogyems.com to your safe sender list and check spam/junk folders.

Policy: Once registered, there are no refunds. You may transfer your scheduled date to another date at no charge.
